Now that we are all working from home<\/a><\/strong> and gaming on our computers more than ever before, its even more important to make sure we know how to properly clean a mousepad. Do you know the last time you cleaned your mousepad? That\u2019s ok. It\u2019s never too late to start. Here are a few tips to clean your mousepad.<\/p>\n

Fabric Mousepad<\/strong><\/h6>\n

To clean a fabric mousepad you will need dishwashing soap, a sponge, and a clean towel.<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Start by placing the fabric mousepad in a sink or bathtub and get it slightly wet using warm water.<\/li>\n
  • Add a small amount of dishwashing soap and use the sponge to scrub away any stains (be mindful not to scrub away any designs).<\/li>\n
  • Repeat on the back side and rinse.<\/li>\n
  • Use a towel to soak up excess water and continue to dry off the mousepad.<\/li>\n
  • Lay in a well ventilated area keeping it out of direct sunlight to help avoid fading.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Plastic Mousepad<\/strong><\/h6>\n

    The above steps for a fabric mousepad can be used or a quicker process using disinfecting wipes is an option. You will need a multi-surface cleaning spray, microfiber cloth, and disinfecting wipes.<\/p>\n

    • Spray the cleaner onto your mousepad and wipe with a microfiber cloth.<\/li>\n
    • With any areas still showing stains use the disinfecting wipes to help scrub it away.<\/li>\n
    • Let the mousepad air dry completely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
